In our continued commitment to safeguarding the interests of our farmers, joint inspections of farming inputs are currently being conducted across Eastern Province.

It is our duty to ensure that farmers are protected from unscrupulous dealers who may compromise the quality, quantity, or accuracy of farming inputs. Through these inspections, the Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA) is playing a critical role by verifying all measuring instruments used for pre-packaging. This ensures that every farmer receives products that meet the declared standards and quantities.

ZMA officers are also inspecting pre-packaged farming inputs to confirm that the contents are accurate as declared. This is vital in ensuring that farmers get full value for every item they purchase or receive through the FISP E-Voucher system .
