The Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA) proudly took part in the official Flag-Off and Joint Inspection Exercise for the 2025/2026 Farming Season under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) β held at Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) and officiated by the Acting Permanent Secretary from the Ministry of Commerce, Trade and Industry, Ms. Angelina Chanda Mukuka.
This initiative reflects the Governmentβs strong commitment to ensuring farmers across the country receive farming inputs that are authentic, safe, compliant, and of the highest quality.
ποΈ βIn the agricultural sector, we are committed to ensuring that every Zambian farmer receives quality inputs β fertilizers, seed, and other essentials β that are safe, correctly labelled, properly measured, and effective for agricultural production,β said Ms. Mukuka.

β’ Inspects production processes and product labeling for compliance

β’ Ensures that farmers receive safe, unexpired products
β’ Prevents anti-competitive and deceptive practices in the agricultural input supply chain
