As part of the 2025 Phase Two Instrument Verification Programme for fuel storage facilities, the Zambia Metrology Agency (ZMA) has carried out the verification of Bulk Flow Meters at the Oasis Fuel Depot in Lusaka.
This exercise is conducted twice a year to ensure that Bulk Flow Meters which handle massive volumes of fuel consistently deliver accurate measurements during the loading and offloading process.
By undertaking this critical verification, ZMA continues to play its vital role in:
✅ Protecting fairness in trade between buyers and sellers.
✅ Safeguarding fuel security of supply by supporting a well-regulated petroleum sector through reliable measurement standards.
