By identifying the correct verification sticker on a measuring instrument, customers/consumers can have confidence in the quantity of goods they receive and can further be assured of the value for their money on good purchased.
By verifying a measuring instrument, businesses are protected from incurring unnecessary losses they may be unaware and can have confidence in the quantities they give to their clients.
Using a measuring instrument for commerce and trade activities without a ZMA Verification Sticker is a breach of the Metrology Act No. 6 of 2017 and may attract regulatory penalties.
